A majority of New Jersey legislators support the Polluters Pay Act and now it's time for legislative leaders to pass this crucial legislation!

The Climate Superfund Act has a new name, and some new sponsors! Now known as the Polluters Pay to Make New Jersey More Affordable Act, S2338/A3735 does what's on the label – reduce climate costs currently borne by New Jersey taxpayers, by making polluters pay!

We're rallying on Monday, March 16 in Trenton to call on leadership to act! Both the Senate and Assembly Environment Committees are scheduled to meet that day, and we're optimistic that the Polluters Pay Act will get a hearing at at least one of those meetings.

Join us at 12pm for the rally, or come early at 10am for the Senate Environment Committee. After the rally, you can also stick around for afternoon lobbying and the Assembly Environment Committee meeting, usually at 1pm or 2pm.
