The IATSE Local 26 West Michigan Stagehands are organizing a rally at the Michigan State Capitol to demand the immediate passage of the HEROES Act by the U.S. Senate. Unemployment is running out for most workers by July 25. It has been a lifeline for stagehands and other workers in the events and entertainment industry. Not extending unemployment benefits will devastate working families. The rally brings together IATSE Locals of Michigan, the Michigan AFL-CIO, other union locals throughout Michigan, and non-union workers.
