Join Empower NJ in Trenton on Monday, September 30th at 9:30 AM to rally for a squeaky clean energy future!

Last year, EmpowerNJ partnered with leading environmental justice groups and climate allies to organize heavily around two bills that were positioned to make or break New Jersey’s clean energy future.

Thanks to our consistent and growing presence in the halls of the State House, and with leadership from frontline communities across the state who are facing dangerous new fossil fuel projects, we were able to stop the dirty gas RNG bill and strengthen the Clean Energy Standard bill, critically important legislative wins for our future.

This year, we’ve seen a slew of new bills introduced to address our state’s climate & energy policy, presenting new threats and new opportunities to our movement.

The legislature is set to take action on some of these bills this Fall, which is why we’re headed to the State House to make it clear to the politicians in Trenton what kind of legislation we need in order to move off of fossil fuels and towards a squeaky clean energy future.
