Rally for Our Hospital - New Hospital, New Site!
Start: Monday, April 27, 2026•11:00 AM
Location: QEII Square• 546 Dean Street, Albury, 2640 AU
Last year, I lost my dad to a diagnosis that came too late. Sadly, this isn’t a unique story in the regions.
On a bad day, Albury hospital is almost 100 beds short. There’s a severe shortage of dialysis chairs. Elective surgery waitlists have stretched to three years. They wouldn’t get away with it in Melbourne, Sydney or Canberra.
Scattered, ad-hoc new facilities and upgrades across a sprawling “campus” are not the answer.
Only a new hospital on a new site can meet the long-term needs of the region.
If elected, my core priority will be working with government to secure a new hospital for our region Let’s send a message that we expect modern healthcare facilities here in Albury.
Join me in coming together and rallying for a new hospital. No more excuses.
When: Monday, 27th April 11am
Where: QEII Square
What: Coming together to rally for a new hospital on a new site. You will hear from myself and advocates around the region. Let’s send a message that can’t be ignored.
