Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated on April 4, 1968 while supporting Black sanitation workers on strike for respect for themselves and their union. On April 4, 2017, we will honor his legacy by honoring workers fighting today for their human dignity, for racial justice and for economic justice. Workers Rights are Human Rights.
