Rally in Tallahassee - Save ADAP, Save Lives

Start: Tuesday, January 20, 202612:30 PM

Location: Florida State Capitol 400 S Monroe St, Tallahassee, FL 32399 US

On March 1, Florida is gutting the AIDS Drug Assistance Program. More than 16,000 people are at risk of losing access to care.

These are working Floridians. They stayed in care. They took their medication. They did everything right. Now, with 52 days' notice and no transition plan, they're being told they're on their own.

The state claims this saves $120 million. They haven't shown us the math. But we know what happens when people lose access to HIV medication: viral rebound, increased transmission, and emergency rooms filling up. The costs, human and financial, multiply from there.

This isn't a budget question. It's a public health emergency.

AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) is joining Equality Florida and a coalition of advocacy organizations to stand with Floridians living with HIV and demand the state reverse course:

Tuesday, January 20 | 12:30 PM Rally to Save ADAP @ Old Capitol Steps

Wednesday, January 21 | 10:30 AM Standing with Patients @ Department of Health Headquarters

Stand with us. Stand with them.
