On March 5, AASUA is holding a noon-hour rally to mark the one-year anniversary since we began bargaining for a renewal Collective Agreement. We hope you will show up to chant and hold a sign so we can increase our bargaining team’s leverage by showing the Employer that the union is standing behind them at this critical juncture.

*Although we encourage AASUA members to show their solidarity, we are not encouraging members to engage in work stoppage nor to neglect their job responsibilities as covered by the Collective Agreement.

Let’s show our Employer and the provincial government that we won’t back down in the fight for preserving our world-class research university! The spark of innovation and learning burns brightly at the U of A — let’s demonstrate to the Employer they must work to keep it lit.
