Cambridge MA, August 5 - Remembering Hiroshima and Nagasaki: Welcoming Momentum for Peace in Korea,

Start: Sunday, August 05, 201811:45 AM

End: Sunday, August 05, 2018 1:00 PM

Michelle Cunha and Mike Van Elzakker travelled from Massachusetts to Washington in June to call for a peace treaty ending the Korean war

We invite all those who seek an end to the threat of nuclear war to come together for a remembrance of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on Sunday, August 5th at 11:45am on the Cambridge Common.

The brief 15 minute program will include a time of remembrance, as well as a celebration of the recently adopted U.N. Treaty Prohibiting Nuclear Weapons. We will meet near the memorial in the center of the Cambridge Common.

In the world we live in today, it is more important than ever to join together with other faithful people as we raise awareness of our common calling to be “Peacemakers.”
