Renfrew County Kids Need A Ride!

Townhall on the impacts of funding cuts on Renfrew kids and families.

This townhall is dedicated to parents, students, and concerned community members who are affected by the school bus crisis. Hearing your stories and needs are critical so the Ford Conservatives can wake up and restore funding for buses in Renfrew County.

Local educators and community members have organized a townhall to discuss this pressing issue and how we can work together to bring back school transportation in Renfrew County.

Back to school should be an exciting time for students. It’s an opportunity to spend more time with their peers, to get back into a healthy and stable routine, and to devote more time and energy to learning and reaching their full potential.

But nearly 11,000 students in Renfrew County have so far been denied an exciting and stable start to the new school year. They have no access to the vital transportation that is needed to get them to their schools safely and consistently.

Parents and guardians have been forced to take time out of their busy lives to fill in for the government’s shortfalls. The responsibility to get students to school has been completely downloaded onto families in your community. This must end!

Tell the Ford government they need to act now!
