Join SCALP & Netpol as we launch our new report ‘From Scotland to Gaza: A SCALP & Netpol report on the policing of Palestine solidarity protests in Scotland’

The report chronicles the policing responses to the mass Palestine solidarity protests that occurred throughout Scotland between October 2023 and October 2024, drawing on a wide range of sources, including first-hand accounts from trained legal observers, protest testimonies, interviews, court records, Freedom of Information (FOI) requests, and media analysis. The report shows the scale and diversity of protests mobilisations across Scotland in this period, along with the aggressive and violent policing used against these, particularly at pickets against weapons companies linked to the genocide in Palestine.

This event will be a chance to hear from people involved in putting this report together, and to discuss how we build and sustain the Palestine solidarity movement and defend the right to protest more generally.
