When the going gets tough, the tough get going! Communities that invest in their resilience before a crisis are far better positioned to come through it together. Join us to for a picnic and friendly conversation about how our community can work together to anticipate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from whatever shocks and stresses may come our way. How do we maintain core functions and adapt toward something better?
We will learn about local resiliency efforts and what we can do as a community in the context of current events like the El Niño year. Everyone is welcome- folks who are just starting to learn about resiliency to experts in resiliency. Families are welcome! This picnic will take place in Santa Monica - exact location provided upon RSVP.
There will be light snacks and drinks provided.
