On Thursday April 9th, Join with the Sunrise Movement, Food & Water Action PAC, and Proud PA along with Judy Wicks for a Virtual Climate justice fundraiser for Rick Krajewski's campaign for State Rep in the 188th district in West Philadelphia! Our country faces a converging of three major crises - COVID-19 and the resulting economic recession; the climate emergency; and extreme inequality. Rick is running on a bold vision of a green new deal, and in the midst of the COVID-19 Pandemic has called for a green stimulus for Pennsylvania that puts people back to work in a green economy that rebuilds our communities. Hear more about Rick’s vision for a green new deal and spend time with Pennsylvania’s climate leaders. This is a virtual fundraiser, you will be emailed a link to video conference following your registration.

More about Rick

Rick is community leader running in the June 2020 elections to use the office as a hub for transformative community organizing and bringing to the forefront issues West Philadelphians face. https://rickforwestphilly.com

Rick is a neighbor in West Philadelphia where he has lived and organized throughout the district for criminal justice reform and access to public education. Since 2016, Rick has been a leader and community organizer with Reclaim Philadelphia, a grassroots member organization fighting to put working class people before profits. In the 2017 general election, Rick led a team of over 200 volunteers as the West Philadelphia Field Organizer to elect Larry Krasner, the most progressive District Attorney in the country on a historic platform of ending mass incarceration, ending cash bail, and committing to fight corruption in the police department and DA’s office. Rick was also a leading force in establishing the participatory defense hub in the Kingsessing neighborhood of West Philadelphia that serves as a resource for community members who have a loved one facing the criminal justice system. In the 2019 primary election, Rick convened a coalition of 15 community organizations in pursuit of electing progressive judges in Philadelphia, with 2 out of 6 judges winning their elections.

Rick is a fighter who will work with community to get the resources we need to thrive!

Join us and contribute to get this community leader for criminal and education justice into the state house!
