Did you feel the heat? This summer climate change hit hard, a widespread heatwave bringing devastating heat, wildfires and extreme weather events like floods to many places. The NHS saw the highest number of A&E attendances in July since records began.

Rising up for climate means making our voices heard on climate change. We can all take personal actions which are a starting point for many of us (e.g. switching your bank account, cycling to work, cutting energy use); when we join together these become powerful (e.g. calling for local authorities to divest from fossil fuels, campaigning for decent cycling infrastructure, joining together to lobby your MPs on energy and climate policy).
