It's on Tues, Jan 20, when the ticket prices are half off.

First, there's an optional dinner at 6PM. Due to an error on John's part, the location has changed to: Guilin Noodle House next to Bank of America at the corner of Garvey and Garfield. They have vegan options.

Second, the movie is at 8PM. Tickets cost $7.50 (you must be a Stubs Rewards member - if you are not, you can buy the ticket through John K).

The movie is around 90 minutes long, and should finish by 10PM.

About the Movie

Based on a 2017 Los Angeles Times article by Frank Shyong, the new movie Rosemead dramatizes a true and tragic story of a single Taiwanese American mother named Irene (Lucy Liu) who has cancer, and her teenage son, Joe (Lawrence Shou). A star student and swimmer, Joe begins to have increasing symptoms of his diagnosed schizophrenia, which intensify after the passing of his father (Orion Lee).

The film is a dark look into issues of mental illness and community lack of understanding. More..
