29th May in Upton Park - Boleyn ward?

A by-election will be hapenning in Boleyn and Wall End wards, likely at the end of June.

Join us to help get the Green message out to residents in Boleyn ward!

It's important that we are out as much as possible over the next few weeks speaking to residents and delivering leaflets that can WIN us this by-election.

We know it works - because that is how we won Stratford Olympic Park to get our two marvelous councillors Nate Higgins and Danny Keeling elected, and how Greens across the country are winning elections!

That's why your help is so important. We can't do this without our members and supporters.

We will be carrying out our 60 Seconds Surveys to find out what matters to residents and to find out their likely voting intensions.

Everybody is welcome, from experienced campaigners to complete newcomers. Nobody will be asked to campaign alone, and we will make sure to group newcomers with more experienced campaigners.

From 4pm we'll also be

having a litter pick, until 5pm

After lunch we'll be out again, this time picking litter to help keep Boleyn clean and tidy, for our community. Gloves, litter pickers and rubbish bags will be provided.

We'll meet at 1pm at Kaffiend Coffee House & Eatery, next to Upton Park tube station. We'll head out to do the surveys at homes in nearby streets, and then stop for a break at 3pm. We'll continue with a litter pick if people are up for it from 4pm until 5pm, so if you can't join us from the start you can always join us for the later session - or visa-versa. Then when we'll finish and have some food and a well deserved beverage, or two, at the cafe/pub, or move elsewhere, so it's a great opportunity to catch up or meet new people.
