Run for the Sharks- because time is running out. Join Bay Area non profit shark lovers, Shark Stewards in a fun run in costume at the 2014 Bay to Breakers.

Run in our shark school or help us gather 10 more runners for a shark-ipede. We will provide shark canteens and shark stickers to supporters who help us raise funding to create the first shark sanctuary in North America, and across the Pacific in Semporna, Malaysia.

Runners are asked to make a shark costume (or join us at a pre party making shark suits) and raise $100 or more for the Shark Sanctuary campaign. Funding will support stakeholder support meetings, an intern and travel expenses. Note- this is a fund raiser- you still must sign up for an entry in the event to be an official contestant.

If you raise $500 or more we will take you on a special Sharktober trip to the Farallon Islands!

Runners must also sign up seperately on the Bay 2 Breakers Event page or contact us through Eventbrite. We will notify you of our corral area where we will gather.
