On April 22-24, the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, millions of people around the world are going online for a three-day mobilization to stop the climate emergency.

Appalachian Youth Climate Coalition is hosting a local livestream to showcase rural organizing including what techniques are used for rural mobilization, and how the intersections of fossil fuels, the climate crisis, economic inequality, and labor rights play out in our unique region; one that has been historically underrepresented in environmental movements.
