The latest heatwave may be over, but we still have another month of the hottest summer on Earth — and all the while, a recent report by the New York State Comptroller shows that we’re not on track to meet our legally mandated climate goals. The Governor responded the next day by suggesting that the goals are perhaps unattainable.

Clearly, the Governor thinks she can flout the law and New Yorkers will just sit quietly as the world burns. But if there’s one thing New Yorkers know how to do, it’s fight back — and when we all stand up, nothing can stop us. That’s why we need YOU to help demand a new plan for public power!

On September 15th, we're rallying in New York City to demand that Hochul unleash the People's Power and build 15 gigawatts of renewable energy by 2030. If the Governor wants to go down in history as anything other than a climate arsonist, she must build. We’re going to make sure she hears that loud and clear.
