Join community members, Starbucks Workers United rank-and-file and newly-elected Atlanta City Council person Kelsea Bond at an in-district screening of the documentary ‘Partners,’ detailing the original organizing behind Starbucks Workers United, followed by a QnA with members on strike. We will first watch the documentary ‘Partners,’ by Working Films detailing the struggle for the first unionized shop in Buffalo, NY, then hear from local workers who fight for their worth as they go on strike to demand Starbucks come to the table and BARGAIN NOW! Suggested donations are $15-$20 for a ticket to the screening / QnA but *everybody* regardless of donation is welcome to join us for this important night. All funds will go to Atlanta Starbucks Workers United members while they fight for better work conditions, higher pay and overall respect on their strike lines throughout the city / North Georgia.
