DSA-LA and Starbucks Workers United are hosting a movie night on Friday, February 27th, at 7pm!

We will be screening the film Partners. The film shares the story of how a group of baristas in Buffalo, New York announce their intention to form a labor union, and how Starbucks responds with an elaborate and illegal anti-union campaign. Featuring on-the-ground footage from workers and organizers, Partners takes us to the front lines of the historic union campaign that catalyzed America’s Gen Z labor revival.

This will be a fun evening where Starbucks baristas, DSA members, and community members can mingle, build solidarity, and deepen our collective commitment to building worker power! For those planning to attend, we highly encourage donations to the Starbucks Workers United National Strike Fund as many baristas remain out on strike!
