This spring, Scale AI landed a multimillion-dollar Pentagon deal to help build Thunderforge, a program to integrate AI into U.S. war games, battlefield planning, and military decision-making. And Thunderforge's first testing ground will be in the Indo-Pacific Command region, with the Philippines as a testing ground and launchpad.

At the same time, Scale AI squeezes cheap labor from Filipino workers, exploiting them for low-paid data labeling to power its tech, profiting off the same communities whose lands and lives are militarized. And behind it all, the same billionaire forces bankrolling Palantir (ICE’s deportation machine and the tech backbone for Israel’s genocide in Palestine) are cashing in again, this time by weaponizing AI.
