Support Maine’s Public Schools will be offering a training on advocating to your local school boards. Topics addressed will include information about attending school board meetings, speaking at school board meetings, and strategies for effective communication with your school board, with a focus on how to advocate for trans rights to your school board. In light of current events, the training will also discuss how to speak with your school board about what it is doing to protect students/teachers/staff from ICE.

This is a virtual event put on by the Bodily Autonomy Working Group.
