Join us to hear from two Standing Together student activists resisting the Israeli Government as it continues to wage war across the region, enacts daily violence and starvation in Gaza, supports settler terrorism and ethnic cleansing in the West, and continues to deny Palestinians full equality, social justice, and peace!

Standing Together is the largest Jewish-Palestinian movement against war and occupation - its leadership is made up of Palestinians and Jewish Israelis. It has led the largest demonstrations against the genocidal war in Gaza, pushed back against the Israeli far-right that tried to block aid to Gaza, organised aid to Gaza, provided protective presence in the occupied West Bank, and demanded an end to endless war.

They have 12 student chapters on campuses across Israel/Palestine, led by Palestinians and Jewish-Israelis. Student activists have played a crucial role in the wider movement and have taken actions such as organising for a student strike to end the genocidal war, bring about a ceasefire, and a release of the hostages and Palestinian detainees.

This meeting is organised by Scottish Friends of Standing Together.
