Southwest Alliance for Equity and Minneapolis Friends Meeting invite you to an evening dedicated to building a more just and equitable Minneapolis by raising vital funds for the East Phillips Urban Farm project.

Join us to learn how to be part of this groundbreaking opportunity to help build a vibrant community hub and indoor urban farm right in the heart of Minneapolis. Powered by a massive rooftop solar array, the community’s vision for this development embodies our shared desire for environmental justice and a healthy future for the historically neglected communities of East Phillips and Little Earth.

Beginning at 6:30 pm at Minneapolis Friends Meeting, build community with your neighbors over light refreshments and music. This will be followed by a comprehensive overview of the project presented by The East Phillips Neighborhood Institute, highlighting its transformative potential, including state-of-the-art indoor farming facilities, communal spaces, affordable housing solutions, and more. There will then be an opportunity to ask questions of the project organizers and learn more about how you can get involved.

Please RSVP through the form located in the upper right corner of this page.

If you can't make it, please consider donating to the project here. Our goal is to raise $3,000 for this community-led project. Learn more about the East Phillip's Urban Farm project here.
