Welcome to learning more about NAZCCA and volunteering!

Tools to build the climate movement.

Make a difference in your community! Find out how we reach out and why. Change is made by us. The runaway climate change must be stopped! Please with friends join the powerpoint presenttion with President of NAZCCA, Rolf vom Dorp. The zoom link will be found after you sign up on the right.

NAZCCA is a non-profit organization that works to inform and organize to slow climate change in Northern Arizona. We do this by educating about climate change, advocating for policies that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and supporting local sustainability initiatives. We believe in the power of local residents to make the change we need!

We are always looking for new volunteers to join our team. No experience is necessary, and there are numerous ways to help and to fit your interests and skills.

Here are just a few of the ways you can volunteer with NAZCCA:

  • Data entry: Help us enter data into our database so we can track our progress and measure our impact.
  • Event planning: Help us plan and execute events.
  • Outreach: Help us spread the word about climate change and NAZCCA's work.
  • Fundraising: Help us raise money to support our work.

Volunteering is important. It can help to:

  • Make a difference in your community: When we volunteer, we give our time and energy to help others. This can make a real difference in the lives of those we are helping and the community as a whole.
  • Learn new skills: Volunteering can be a great way to learn new skills and gain new experiences. This can be helpful in our career, as well as in our personal life.
  • Meet new people: Volunteering is a great way to meet new people who share our interests. This can help us to build relationships and create a sense of community.
  • Give back to our community: Volunteering is a way to give back to the community that has given us so much. It is a way to show appreciation for the people and resources that have helped us.
  • Improve our mental and physical health: Volunteering has been shown to improve mental and physical health. It can reduce stress, anxiety, and depression. It can also improve our mood, energy levels, and well-being.
  • Increase your self-esteem and confidence: Volunteering can help us to feel good about ourself. It can give us a sense of purpose and accomplishment. It can also help us to build our confidence and develop new skills.
  • Develop leadership skills: Volunteering can help you to develop leadership skills. When you volunteer, you are often allowed to take on leadership roles. This can help you to develop your communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Explore career options: Volunteering can help us to explore career options. If  interested in a particular field, volunteering can allow us to gain experience and learn more about the field.
  • Stop the climate deterioration.
