Welcome to "Shared Injustices, Shared Struggles: Connecting Black and Indigenous Communities with the People of Palestine"

In this Open House, we will share stories of struggle against systems of domination.

We will “critique from within” the part our respective faith communities have played in the oppression of Black and Indigenous people, including the Palestinians.

We will learn about the “Defund Racism Campaign”  as we look at ways to stop the flow of billions of dollars from questionable organizations that are contributing to the ethnic cleansing of Palestine.

We hope to hear from Palestinians from the South Hebron Hills whose village of Mufagara was attacked by dozens of illegal settlers on September 29, 2021.

This program was planned with help and inspiration from the Good Shepherd Collective in Palestine and FOSNA (Friends of Sabeel North America in cooperation with the Interfaith Committee of the Southern Tier for Palestine Coalition.

So far the following organizations in our Eastern Southern Tier have endorsed the “Defund Racism Campaign” and are working together to get our respective congressional representatives to endorse HR 2590
