Join DSA comrades and our allies for a Meet & Greet in Silver Spring for our endorsed candidate for Prince George's County Council, Shayla Adams-Stafford. Shayla is a former union steward and teacher, who has taken on developers and fought for working families on the Prince George’s County School Board. After the 2020 uprisings, Shayla was a key voice opposing armed police in schools and for investing in care and support for students. On the Council, Shayla has promised to fight alongside Metro DC DSA for human dignity and putting people over profits by championing tenant protections and leading the push for social housing in PG County.

Election Day is March 4 and the race is coming down to the wire, what we do now determines whether the County Council is controlled by cop-endorsed conservatives or by the people.
