The Kansas City chapter of DSA (Democratic Socialists of America) is hosting an educational event with health policy expert Timothy Faust, and everyone's invited! Tim is a DSA member, and co-hosts the new podcast HeavyxMedical. His writings about health justice and policy have appeared in Jacobin Magazine, and he has lent his expertise to many other podcasts such as Left Coast and Chapo Trap House. Do you remember those "Ted Cruz is the Zodiac Killer" t-shirts? Tim and his pal Rory Blank headed up that effort and sold the shirts to raise $65k for the West Fund, which provides affordable abortion access in El Paso, TX and surrounding areas.
