United Women of Color is tabling at the third annual event for Sexual Assault Awareness Month called Slam for S.A.A.M. on the Alabama A&M campus on April 4.

The Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University Department of Public Services has partnered with an organization called AshaKiran to bring awareness to sexual assault through art.

This is an open mic event that will give students the platform to express themselves through poetry, interpretive dancing, etc.

We will need volunteers to:

• Help Set-Up & Tear-Down.
• Manage the UWOC table during the event by engaging with attendees.
• Share UWOC's story and help attendees sign up for the UWOC newsletter via email.

*We need 2 volunteers and once 2 people have signed up the form will stop accepting responses. Thank you!
