Curious about socialism?
Do you have questions about how capitalism really works—and why socialists want to dismantle it? Wondering what life could look like in a world beyond capitalism? Interested in how we can organize together to win that future?
Then come join us for Socialist Essentials, a three-session introduction to socialist ideas and organizing. Together we’ll explore:
How capitalism functions, and the harm it creates.
What socialism could look like in our everyday lives.
How we can organize collectively to build a better world.
Each session will combine key concepts with open discussion, so you’ll leave with both a stronger understanding of socialist politics and space to share your own perspectives. And if you’re free, we’ll head out to socialize after each session!
Course schedule:
Session 1: What is Capitalism?
Session 2: What is Socialism?
Session 3: How Do We Organize Like Socialists?
Dates and locations:
Sessions will begin the week of November 3rd. We'll follow up with exact dates and locations soon.
RSVP once to stay in the loop!
We hope to see you there—let’s learn, imagine, and organize together!
