Join us as we discuss and investigate the relationship between race and capitalism in US History.

We’ll be covering a brief reading on the material origins of racist ideology through the development of America’s chattel slavery system, and discuss how the framework of racial capitalism can be applied to other aspects of US and world history.

Are you interested in deepening your understanding of socialism? We’d like to invite you to sign up for our inaugural Socialist Night School, an 8 week curriculum where you can learn from chapter leaders about the basics of socialism and how to put socialist ideas into practice. Meetings will start on September 23rd and run every Wednesday from 6:30-8:30pm at the Labor Temple (with a hybrid option!). All are welcome to attend the Socialist Night School, even if you can’t make every meeting.
