This workshop moves beyond a US-centric view of abolition to explore the global systems of policing, imprisonment, and surveillance that uphold racial capitalism and imperialism. We will connect the struggle to abolish police and prisons in Philadelphia to movements for liberation around the world, understanding that our fights are interconnected. By building internationalist prisoner solidarity, we strengthen our local organizing and embrace a truly intersectional abolitionist framework
