Socialist Night School - December 2019
Start: Monday, December 09, 2019• 7:00 PM
End: Monday, December 09, 2019• 9:00 PM
Twenty years ago thousands of people took to the streets of Seattle and shut down the World Trade Organization meetings in Seattle. Join us on December 9th to discuss the events of the Battle of Seattle, how the protests were organized, and what lessons we can apply to our current organizing efforts.Socialist Night School is an open course that provides a chance to develop our politics together, regardless of background knowledge or whether you’ve attended a class before. New members and lifelong socialists, all are welcome! If you have questions, e-mail us at SeaNightSchool@gmail.com
Many thanks to our comrade and fellow Seattle DSA member, Hillary H, for helping plan this session. She has been working tirelessly to help plan and organize the Washington Fair Trade Coalition's WTO 20th anniversary event on December 7th. For more details, visit the event page here.
