Said Ahmed’s journey is deeply rooted in Roxbury, where he arrived as a 12-year-old refugee from Somalia and was embraced by Boston. Over the years, he has given back in countless ways as a longtime Boston Public Schools educator, a former U.S. National athlete, and the founder of youth programs that have empowered thousands.

Now, it’s time for us to stand with Said as he fights to ensure every voice in our community is heard and represented at City Hall.
