Speak Up For Science
Start: Saturday, May 04, 2019•11:00 AM
End: Saturday, May 04, 2019•02:00 PM
For 125 years, we've worked to understand the diversity of life on Earth. Today, our planet needs us more than ever.
Start taking action and participate in our second annual Speak Up For Science. Talk to scientists, learn about the work we're doing, and take real steps to protect the natural world.
Join in a variety of hands-on activities:
- Register to vote and write a postcard to tell legislators what you care about
- Digitize specimens from our botany collections
- Help save monarch butterflies by planting milkweed
- Play games and learn about teen programs at the Field
- Use and make Field Guides to explore local habitats
- Write a poem celebrating the natural world
- Volunteer to protect natural areas
Illinois residents enjoy free Basic admission to the museum all day.
Together, we can work toward a brighter future for Earth.
