About Lindsey,
Lindsey Faulkenburg (she/they) is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Sustainable Communities at Northern Arizona University. Having spent a decade in the environmental restoration field, she is now seeking ways to make restoration more holistic and liberating. Her interest in green burial started there and has since spread. Lindsey has recently co-facilitated the NAZCCA Green Burial Action Team and studied green burial as part of her coursework. For her, green burial presents a unique opportunity to address the overlapping needs of humans and nature - the human need for physical spaces to grieve and connect deeply with the land and nature's need for healing and restoration.
