The NewsGuild-CWA is hosting a special virtual “watch on your own” screening and panel discussion of the documentary Stripped For Parts, which chronicles Hedge Fund vulture Alden Global Capitol’s pursuit and destruction of local news ecosystems across the United States.
Guild members, staff and local leaders will be given a special access link to watch the film over the week of Wednesday Dec. 4 through Wednesday Dec.11.
On the evening of Wednesday December 11 from 8-9PM EST we’ll host a virtual panel discussion with producer Rick Goldsmith and a few TNG members at local Alden newspapers to discuss the film and the continued fight ahead.
Members who watch the film and attend the panel will be entered into a raffle to win a TNG bomber jacket.
