Spring is in full swing! If you're as concerned as we are about our rapidly melting snow pack and the hellish fire season looming over this Summer, then join us for a week of climate action! Bend City Council is currently considering a Climate Impact Fee that will incentivize clean, energy efficient appliances and reduce fossil fuel use in the City. It is a key first step towards transitioning off fossil fuels, and council needs to hear from you to stay on track!

Sign Making Party | Monday April 13th 5:30pm - 7:30pm

Commons Cafe & Taproom, 875 NW Brooks St.

Gear up for our next two events and make your own climate action sign! All materials are provided, but you're welcome to bring any of your own craft supplies if you'd like. Our team will also be there to field any questions you might have.

Public Comment | Wednesday April 15th 5:30pm - 6:30pm

City Hall, 710 NW Wall St.

This is our last chance to tell City Council why we support a Climate Impact Fee before they iron out the final language of the policy. Whether you're joining in solidarity, or delivering a testimony of your own - this is one of the best ways to influence your city councilors. Be sure to check out our testimony guide and consider writing one of your own - it takes two minutes max and is one of the most important ways you can use your voice.

Work Session Sit In | Wednesday April 22nd 3:30pm - 5:00pm

City Hall, 710 NW Wall St.

City Council is going to be debating the final details of the policy at this meeting. We're sitting in to remind our City Councilors who the are accountable to - community members and constituents who deserve clean air, affordable energy bills, and real climate justice.
