Stafford Pride takes place in Victoria Park, in the County town of Stafford.

This is quite a new Pride event - 2025 will be the second year of Stafford Pride - and this is the first year Staffordshire NEU will be taking part, with a stall in the Festival site and showing Educator Pride as part of the parade through the town centre.

So, I am looking for volunteers who can help set up and run the stall, along with people to represent the NEU as part of the parade. The map below shows the Parade route in 2024.

We can start setting up at 8 am but I am aiming for 9 am - which gives 2 hours before I need to remove my car, and to give time to get over to the parade meeting point for 11:30 am.

The parade starts at 12 pm (midday) and the Festival area opens at 12 pm and closes at 9 pm (which is when I can collect the car to pack up).

I need volunteers who can be there in the morning (setting up / parade / festival stall), afternoon (festival stall), early evening (festival stall) and late evening (festival stall & packing up), so please give me an indication of times you can help. Nearer the time I will get in touch to arrange final times (with details of an optional WhatsApp group)
