Tourism workers have been fighting for a living wage for over two years. LA City Council will be voting on final draft language of the ordinance to raise their wages to $30 an hour by 2028. The tourism industry makes massive profits, but the vast majority of workers who make that possible are living in poverty. This is an important step towards stabilizing workers and ensuring they are able to afford to live in the city.
