Dear friends, neighbors, and supporters,
In June we won a citywide moratorium on data centers in Durham, and we're currently organizing to push our County Commissioners to pass one that is as strong or stronger to cover the county. The final commissioners' hearing and vote is Monday, August 24th, 7pm (we'll rally at 6pm), so let's prepare to win this one as well!
Join us to:
- hear more about the campaign and how to get involved
- learn about folks taking action across the state and country
- strategize together to win a strong moratorium without loopholes & strong permanent protections by this coming spring.
- get to know each other in this shared struggle!
There will be food, videos, and lively discussion! Please let us know if you'll need childcare!!
