TC Energy has been approved to expand the GTN Xpress Pipeline - through Central Oregon. They plan to pump over a million cubic feet of gas into an aging 60 year old pipeline, which feeds the supply lines. Similar installations in Virginia experienced an explosion and fire 25 feet high. Fortunately, this was in a rural, green area, unlike Central Oregon's desert. Any explosion like this would be deadly in Central Oregon's dry desert. READ MORE

Cascade Natural Gas, and any partner of TC Energy, will charge its customers for this expansion. We've been fighting to Stop this expansion. We're organizing during the Northwest Gas Association conference to ensure that we don't pay for gas we are unlikely to need and use!
