Wells Fargo is one of the TOP funders of the Mountain Valley Pipeline. It has poured $86.7 million into this destructive project which threatens the land, the people, and worsens the climate crisis globally. That's why we are standing in solidarity with land defenders at the Wells Fargo HQ.

This fight has been long, and it still isn’t over. Organizers on the ground continue a relentless direct action campaign as MVP struggles to cross waterways and treacherous mountainous terrain- including the Jefferson National Forest. Even though MVP seems to be working everywhere all at once, the pipeline has continually pushed back their finish date, which is now projected to be sometime in spring 2024. Construction is continuing through the winter, as the company continues to destroy the land the pipeline crosses. You cannot go anywhere in the region without seeing or hearing evidence of construction. People on the ground are experiencing increased state repression as they face escalated charges, ridiculous jail sentences, and SLAPP suits.
