Strike Authorization Vote
Start: Sunday, October 10, 2021•12:00 PM
We’ve pulled together to make sure that shifts are covered and our patients are well cared for, sometimes at the expense of our own health and security. Now we need Kaiser Permanente (KP) to take safe staffing seriously, and we need them to prioritize our community as much as we do.
One of KP's most divisive proposals is paltry wage increases for current members of our union which will do nothing to address the tremendous pay disparity between Inland Empire workers and their area counterparts. KP has also refused to entertain any proposals to address our chronic short staffing.
You've made it clear through our strike assessment, feedback during our town halls and by participating in Union Solidarity Days that you will not settle for anything less than the fair contract we all deserve.
As a result, we will vote on whether to grant our local negotiators the authority to institute a strike if necessary.
Please complete the form to let us know you plan to attend this session. Come to the vote with a mask and your employee I.D. so we can verify your membership.
