Join DSA-LA Labor Committee for our first event of the year, our STRIKE HYPE! Series. The series is meant to feature workers in the LA area who are in active organizing campaigns--from bargaining to those preparing to go on strike ⚡️⚡️⚡️!

At this Strike Hype discussion, we will focus on the theme of bargaining! Hear from worker leaders who are currently in different stages of the bargaining process. April 2024's event will feature:

• Touchstone Workers United, (@touchstoneworkersunited), workers from the five LA Touchstone Climbing Gyms who have just won a union are starting to form a bargaining team
• Cal Tech Grad Researchers and Postdocs United (@cgpu_uaw), workers from Cal Tech who have started to collect goals for their contract and bargaining team
• Star Garden Strippers Strike Noho (@equitystrippersnoho), workers from Star Garden have new support from the NLRB about Star Garden's lack of acknowledgment of their settlement terms.
• Starbucks Workers United (@sbworkersunited), workers from Starbucks in LA who have finally gotten their employer to come to the bargaining table after years of protest
