Join us at the Summer of Pride March and Rally takes place this Saturday 27th June!
Organised by OUT North East, the event comes at a time when LGBTQ+ communities are facing growing challenges. As Pride flags are removed from public spaces and funding for LGBTQ+ organisations and events comes under increasing pressure, this is an opportunity for people across our region to come together and demonstrate visible support for equality, inclusion and human rights.
The march will leave Park Lane, Sunderland, at 12 noon and make its way to Keel Square for speeches, community voices and music. Led by a marching band, it promises to be a vibrant and uplifting celebration of our communities and a powerful statement of solidarity.
Sunderland Green Party will be marching - look out for the banner! Together, we can send a clear message that the North East stands for equality, visibility, dignity and respect for all.
