SunDay is a global day of action on September 21st, 2025, celebrating the unstoppable rise of clean energy. We’ll come together to showcase the power of the sun and wind, the energy sources that can power our world without pollution.

We'll meet near Fort Phoenix's tennis courts, then ride across the Fairhaven-New Bedford Bridge, south to the New Bedford Harbor Walk, and then down the Rodney French Blvd. beach walk (taking time to check out the wind farm staging area!) to Fort Taber. On the return ride, we'll stop at Cisco's outdoor patio for refreshments before heading back to Fairhaven. At 14 miles round-trip it should involve a little over an hour of riding. But it's fairly flat and we have a route planned out to make the ride as safe & stress-free as possible for riders of all ages & abilities.
