This bicycle ride is in support of events leading up to “Sun Day”, with an optional discussion of Solar Energy at a local pub following the ride. “Sun Day” is a day of action on September 21, 2025, celebrating the power of clean energy, sponsored by a coalition of grassroots organizations, such as Third Act PA, and many others.

Registration on the Bicycle Club of Philadelphia's ride calendar is required. Follow this link, scroll down to "Sept. 13 listing for Sat September 13, 2025 - "SUN DAY" Delaware River Towpath 22-mile Ride", and then click "Preregister".

This ride will proceed north on the packed gravel PA towpath, sections of road riding into New Hope and Lambertville, NJ, and return on the New Jersey towpath to cross back to PA on the newly completed path on the Scudder Falls bridge. There will be a brief rest stop in Lambertville. The ride will be limited to 15 participants. The on-line route map is here.
