SunDay is a global day of action on September 21st, 2025, celebrating the unstoppable rise of clean energy. We’ll come together to showcase the power of the sun and wind, the energy sources that can power our world without pollution.

Hosted in Cary, NC at Burkett Farm's Container Barn, which runs on 100% solar and battery powered energy, this free community event brings together leading local voices in clean energy, sustainable agriculture, and climate-smart solutions for an afternoon of learning, connection, and action. We’ll also have kids activities, local food and beverage options, and music throughout the afternoon!

Parking: There is limited parking in the farm parking lot off of Westhaven Drive. If the farm lot is full, there is street parking on cross streets - Electra Drive and Westhaven Drive. We encourage you to carpool, walk, bike to the festival!

Venue policies:

-All guests will be required to check in at the farm gate upon arrival.

-Please leave your dogs at home.

-Burkett Farm is a working farm. Please be mindful when walking around the farm to stay out of cultivated areas and chicken coops.

-There are stinging insects, such as bees and fire ants, on the property. We strongly urge guests with allergies to bring any relevant medication, such as an Epipen.

-Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.

Food & Drink:

-There will be food and soft beverages for purchase from A Place at the Table's food truck

-Alcoholic beverages are not permitted

-Please bring a refillable water bottle for water stations to help us avoid waste.
