People may think of transit as a pretty utilitarian good that gets you to work, school, errands, appointments - and it's critical for all of these. But in the Bay, we're lucky enough to be able to access just about anything you can imagine via transit - and in particular, there's so much wonderful green space to explore, just steps away from bus or train.

Come spend a few hours enjoying the peace and quiet of a Sunday in the park, and exploring the possibilities accessible by bus and train in Hayward and Castro Valley. For this event, we'll be gathering at Hayward BART at 11:15 to catch the 11:29 93 bus up to the Hayward Japanese Gardens. We'll explore those and the other park space nearby, and then catch the 1:38 93 over towards Castro Valley BART - all are welcome to join for a no-host lunch at European Market Deli and Cafe.

All you need is your Clipper Card and comfy shoes/cloths to walk & lounge in!
